The Portugal star took just six minutes to get off the mark in his first appearance of the season, with Danilo, Sergio Ramos, Pepe and Luka Modric adding further goals
Cristiano Ronaldo scored after just six minutes on his return to action as Real Madrid cruised to a 5-2 victory over Osasuna.
Madrid had all but secured the win by half-time after Danilo and Sergio Ramos added to Ronaldo’s opener late in the half.
And Pepe and Luka Modric put a gloss on the scoreline after the break to make sure of three points, with Oriol Riera and David Garcia’s consolation goals the only blemishes for Zinedine Zidane’s side.
