Zlatan IB.rahimovic scored twice as Manchester United defeated Southampton 2-0 at Old Trafford on Friday.
The Swedish striker, signed on a free from PSG earlier this summer, followed up his debut goal against Bournemouth with a double on his home bow, first crashing home a superb header before converting from the penalty spot after Luke Shaw was fouled in the area.
However, it is perhaps Paul Pogba who will grab the headlines, as the world’s most expensive footballer made his second debut for the club and impressed from midfield.
United will now face Hull City in the Premier League prior to their clash with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City on September 10.
